(TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up four cents, or 2.25 per cent, to $1.82 on 8.9 million shares.Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up 16 cents, or 1.65 per cent, to $9.83 on 6.9 million shares.First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 50 cents, or 4.33 per cent, to $11.06 on 6.4 million shares.MBAC Fertilizer Corp. (TSX:MBC). Fertilizer producer. Down one cent, or 20 per cent, to four cents on 5.5 million shares.Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Up 63 cents, or 7.14 per cent, to $9.45 on 4.4 million shares.Bankers Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:BNK). Oil and gas. Up eight cents, or 3.59 per cent, to $2.31 on 4.2 million shares.Companies reporting major news:Husky Energy Inc. (TSX:HSE). Oil and gas. Up 95 cents, or 4.21 per cent, to $23.52 on 1.5 million shares. Husky Energy reported a second-quarter profit of $120 million, down from a year ago, as it was hit by lower oil and natural gas prices and an increase in corporate taxes in Alberta. The company said the profit amounts to 10 cents per diluted share for the three months ended June 30 compared with a profit of $628 million or 63 cents per diluted share a year ago.WestJet (TSX:WJA). Airline. Down 84 cents, or 3.71 per cent, to $21.83 on 658,061 shares. WestJet reported record earnings Tuesday in its second quarter, propelled by falling fuel costs and a rising number of passengers. Gregg Saretsky, the CEO of the Calgary-based airline, said he expects the company’s discounted rates and updated WestJet Plus fares for its premium economy class to drive similarly strong results in the second half of the year, despite a stumbling Canadian economy.
