IRCTC to launch Executive Lounges in 48 locations

first_imgIndian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will set up Executive Lounges at 48 locations across the country, as reported by Manoj Sinha, Minister of State for Railways. These lounges promise value added services at a charge, and will offer facilities such as Wifi Internet, buffet services, wash and change, concierge services for pre-departure and post-arrival assistant to passengers, similar to the facilities provided at the airports. Executive lounge at New Delhi Railway station has started operations.The locations include Delhi, Nizamuddin, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Jammu, Agra Cantonment, Bhopal, Nagpur, Vijayawada, Chennai Central, Bangaluru City, Trivandrum Central, Madurai, Kozhikode, Ernakulam Junction, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Bandra Terminus, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kathgodam, Bhubaneshwar, Lucknow, Lucknow Junction, Varanasi Cantonment, Kalka, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Pune, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Raipur, Dhanbad, Tatanagar, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, Puri, Sealdah, Howrah, New Jalpaiguri, Patna, Gorakhpur, Allahabad, and Kanpur.last_img read more
